Republic Day wishes & a humble vote appeal

With India gaining its Independence in 1947 and the Constitution coming into force on this very day in the year 1950, our motherland has since then steadily stepped towards the path of development, with the speed of growth turning into manifolds in the recent years and thereby emerging out to be one of the fastest growing economies in the world.

And so is our Jamnagar branch of WIRC of ICAI, which has been instrumental on its path of growth over these years, with many awards to its credit. Change is the law of nature, and hence, on the 6th day of February, 2016, election will be held to hand over the charge to a new committee. I am glad that I am contesting this esteemed election and I am hopeful that the new committee will amplify the growth of the branch to altogether new levels.

If you believe in the power of youth and in their ability to execute work, I would like to request you to vote for the suitable candidates. It is my sincere plea to you, to come and exercise your right, by casting your precious vote.

I solicit the blessings and guidance of the senior members, and the best wishes of my contemporaries; and with all reverence, I urge you all for your invaluable support so that we can concretely move towards being partners in nation building in its true spirit.

With salutes to all the jawans for their undying spirit for our motherland, I wish you all a very Happy Republic Day. May our dear nation, showcase its vibrant culture, its youth potential, its power of democracy in the years that are to come and outshine everyone by accomplishing the Vision 2020 that Dr. Kalam had dreamt for us all.

New Year

With the rise of a new year, we can feel that energy in the air. We all are geared up for the new resolutions, new dreams, that we’ve cherished for ourselves to accomplish this year. As the first day of the year 2016 is coming to an end, my wishes are, that may this excitement stay ignited in our souls for all the coming days so that we can motivate ourselves to stand firm on the promises that we have made to ourselves.

For me it has always been like days come and go. Ye kaam kal kar lungi, and that kal keeps on dragging to the next kal until I get a deadline! And sadly, I keep cheating myself with each passing day. Till how long will this continue? Everyone has that some weakness within them which hinders their path towards mental peace or financial soundness or physical strength or other social issues.

Let that weakness get overpowered this year so that we can emerge as a winner in front of oneself. Self motivation plays an undetachable role during such times helping to invigorate oneself to utilize his efficiency to the best level. May we get that undeterred strength and irresistible force to achieve what we dreamt for ourselves! Let us spare few moments to get online with ourselves and get offline with everything else during that time. Rejoice the moment, to live with the self.

Self development will ultimately lead in nation building. Even small steps like using one bucket of water for cleaning our vehicles instead of wasting three - four buckets, or judiciously using paper which will in turn lead to less cutting of trees, or unknotting polyethylene bags when giving food to cows can result in serving cause of the nation and humanity as a whole. The Iron Man, Sardar had rightly quoted that ‘every citizen of India must remember that he is an INDIAN and he has every right in this country but with certain DUTIES’.

Our salutes to those Jawans who stay awake so that we all can sleep peacefully. The quote ‘Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan’ by Lal Bahadurji stands true to the core; the two components without whom we can’t imagine the safety of our lives.

With the quotes of these precognitive legends who by their simplicity, honesty and principles laid before us the united India, let us all arise and awake to relive those dreams which Dr. Kalam dreamt for India in 2020.

In the end, I would say that may each Indian recognize the voice of his soul, make hard work his companion and with these wishes, wishing you all a very happy new year!
